See? Sound asleep while we stroll through the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan, past Paris and Ballys. Sometimes I think lots of people and loud noises lull him to sleep!
I love the excess of Vegas. Everything's a little over the top, but that's what makes it amazing. Like a chocolate fountain as tall as the ceiling and yummy desserts surrounded, topped and filled with chocolate...

And buffets with mini-servings of mac-and-cheese and Tikka Masala with a dessert bar that has 21 different kinds of gelato... (I tried at least 8 kinds. This buffet is called the Wicked Spoon and I highly recommend it if you appreciate stuffing yourself with high quality food.)
And little pails of herbed popcorn to go with our drinks...
And you can stay in a hotel that looks like a castle...and your baby gets to hang out in the king-sized bed of this castle hotel!
But the REAL reason we were in Vegas was to watch the Zags play in the WCC end of season tournament. We've done this once before and it is a blast to be in the arena, close to the court along with hundreds of other Zag fans. Nate went to high school a few minutes from Gonzaga and he is a true fan. I am a fan by marriage and Wyatt is a fan by birth!
Nate's parents are snow-birds and stay in Arizona for the winter. We were lucky enough to have them drive up to Vegas to enjoy the games and to help out with Wyatt. We got way more relaxation then we ever would have without them. We were able to get away to sunbathe, play the poker table and even see a show because of them!
This was Ann, Earl and Wyatt's first time at games like this but they all liked them. These sound cancelers worked wonders and Wyatt slept during most of the games despite the LOUD cheers and jeers from
We won the tournament which gave us some good momentum heading into March Madness a couple weeks later. The Zags made it to the Elite 8 for the first time in 16 years!
Wyatt got his first outdoor pool experience which he didn't LOVE, but he didn't HATE...just a little bit of mild fussing, followed by surprised wailing when splashed by the more comfortable kiddos nearby!
Doesn't he look like one of the minions here from Despicable Me? You know, the yellow top and the blue bottom, the head with no neck and the goggles?? Regardless, I think he's adorable in his sunbathing outfit! Surfs up dude!
